Reliving the awesomeness
Since there's no small classes racing at Laguna Seca this weekend here's a little "reminder" of the good times in Jerez where - even though Bati "only" came second - the fans' reception for Alvaro was just breathtaking and you can see a very, very, very happy rider in second place. Just makes you smile. :D

Timeout: Friggin HILARIOUS!
Ahead of this weekend's GP in Laguna Seca, Yamaha Motors came up with another classic video. Best quote: "Hey, are you blind? I had the inside line!"
I don't wanna give too much of the story away, so you just have to watch it yourself, I assure you that you won't be disappointed. :D

On a general note, whoever came up with the video ideas for Yamaha this season should get a raise, very creative and fun, very refreshing. :)
Unfortunately they didn't offer an embed code, so if you wanna see the video in higher quality, here's the source link.

Victory Lap Catalunya - Burnout Time!
Another insight to what it must have been like to sit in that crowd this weekend. :D
Hint: It's starts very loud, so don't turn your speakers to 11 if you'd like to keep them for a while. ;)

Interview after Catalunya Win
Interview with Alvaro after his fabulous win in Catalunya this weekend.

Rough translation:
"Yes, it's been a perfect day. To win here at home is always very special. Today the conditions weren't the best, but at the beginning I just tried to get my rhythm and then I got a little bit of distance to the others and rode on my own. It was difficult, because it was really hot and hard to stay focused. In the last laps I just gave my all because the engine got worse due to the heat, but fortunately not too much. In the end I managed to win here and I'm of course very happy to have done that here at home."
Asked if he'd seen the crash of Simoncelli: "No, I haven't seen the crash, my mechanics showed it to me on the pitboard. I now have more points advantage on him in the classification, but Aoyama is the one close to us and we have to stay focused on ourselves."

Timout: Dani Pedrosa back on track
A little update on Dani Pedrosa with the first pictures of him ahead of the Catalunya GP this weekend. He definitely is a tough little cookie after the additional injury he suffered at the Italian GP and now he's ready to race again while obviously still having trouble walking. I do hope for his sake that riding this weekend is the right decision and doesn't do more damage than it might do good.
